Exhibitions

Please note that our Senses exhibition, due to be held in 2020 has been delayed due to Covid 19. Unfortunately, we are not able to exhibit at all in 2021.

Senses (re-scheduled)

Our exhibition, 'Senses', explores our individual approaches to the sensory world in felt, metal, paint, print and stitch. Current 2d and 3d works are inspired by sensory loss, optical illusion, colour and light, and reflecting on how memories of sights and sounds give a sense of place.

Revealed

Our 2019 exhibition, 'Revealed', explored several approaches to the idea of what is seen or unseen, using unconventional viewpoints, revealing various hidden layers - in the physical world, in our emotional landscapes and also in our work itself.

Destinations

The title of our first exhibition was ‘Destinations’ and our textile and mixed media work revealed different perspectives on that theme - some based on maps, views of the Earth from Space and real and imaginary landscapes. The Latin origins of the word, destinare, ‘make firm, establish’, led to it meaning ‘being destined for a place’ and we hope that this, our first exhibition, began to establish our place in the world of textile art.
